Wouldnt that be cool , to be able to close the car with the remote and walk away as the windows and sunroof shut themselves.I believe this feature is standard on non US spec X5's, unfortunatly here in the US, the feature is disabled. It has been discused here before, the usual ' sue issue ' seems to be the problem.!!!!!!!

I think you are right. I can open and close my windows and sunroof with my remote.

Looks pretty cool when you are leaving the car and everything closes up

I was looking into that product the other day too. Looks interesting- Only thing is it only controls 4 mechanisms at most. 3 windows & the sunroof? I wonder if it's possible to mod that to 5 mechs.

Here is the problem I see...What if this summer you want to leave the sunroof or the window cracked for ventilation. Once you arm the alarm you have essentially sealed up the car with no way of overriding the system.

Just a thought.

For me it works like this. If I want to close the windows and/or moonroof I have to hold the Lock button. After a few seconds the windows and moonroof starts to close, but if I dont want them to close all the way I just let go of the button.

Works the same way if I want to open the windows...
