Will the new taillights(the clearer ones w/ clear signal) fit an 01?

I'm going sometime today or tomorrow to pick up my '01 3.0 and I want to put on the new style 3.0 wheels as well as replace the taillights with the newer, clearer looking ones(with the clear signals). I'll also replace the orange side markers with the clear ones. I just want to update the look a little and I think that new wheels, taillights, and sidemarkers will do the trick. I would do headlights but I'd rather get the rest done first. Anyway, I heard that the wiring for the newer tailights won't match that on the older taillights. Is this true or will the new ones plug right up? Thanks. You guys have been an immense help already.
