AUX cable question

Hi,
I just got my aux cable in the mail and fixing to install, but I have one question. On the instructions it recommends you mount the terminating end in the glove box. I'm thinking of using this extra aux port for a dvd, phatnoise, or possibly satellite radio. I want to get people's opinion as to where they mounted, or even mounted the aux end at all. I was thinking of just stuffing the end behind the dash and not mounting it at all. On the other hand I'm thinking I would like the option to switch back and forth between different components using aux by switching the cables around in the glove box. What do you guy's think?

I had the BMW Service Center install it in my Glove Box. I could not find a more concealed location so i could switch between my ipod and my MyFi Satelittle player. I just run the up the side of the center counsel and lay the ipod on the compartment for now. I think I am going to get the ipod mount that goes in the cup holder.

If you don't smoke, the ashtray would be a good location too.

AUX was my first mod. I put it in the ashtray as suggested earlier. Nice and easy to fit here.

That is waht I am planning to do....put a toggle switch in the glove box or in the ash tray to switch between my Roady XM sat radio and a plug for the Zen MP3 player. I just bought a simple DPDT micro switch , so it will be very discrete and if I have to remove the switch later the remaining hole will be tiny.
