I ordered my 2006 X5 3.0 in November of last year, and it arrived at the dealer in NJ 17 calendar days after I placed the order. The info on Owners Circle was very accurate and updated every step of the way, practically on a day-to-day basis. Pretty quick.

I took a tour of the 5 series factory in Dingolfing, Germany. It takes 3 days to build a car. I'm sure an X5 is similiar. Most if the time is waiting for paint to dry.

...wait for it....

...So you think having to wait for it is tough?? Imagine having to look at it parked outside, waiting for you to get healed? I saw it in November, bought it in December, looked at it for all of January...all the while I couldn't walk, muchless drive..... (...I mangled both ankles and heels in a sweet 22' plummet to earth after being electrocuted from a ladder... )....But you know, all that waiting was so well worth it...
