Replica 20's + tires review

As promised here is my review of the 4.6 20 inch replica rims + toyo proxe tires review. Previous I had the 4.4 non sport 18's with stock all seasons.

Rims and tires:
Bought the rims+tires mounted and balanced from truck accecories outlet. The package arrived on time and is well packaged. Those rims are made in China however from the same manufacture that makes wheels for automakers like Hyundai. That's not saying much but at least they do make OEM quality products.
The finish on the wheels is about a 9 out of 10, small inperfections but more than acceptable. Tires look great.

Installation:
Took them to a hunter certified shop and the installation took about 2 hours initially. They said that the balancing is not correct so they re did the mount and balancing for all four wheels. After using the high tech laser alignment system i was ready for a road test. The alignment was perfect however at over 60 miles per hour the steering wheel starts to shake. Took it back to the shop and did a rebalancing as they say 20's are quite difficult to balance right. Another 2 hours I took it out for a second drive.

Roadtest:
First of all these wheels totally change the way the car looks, the fat tires in the back draws some serious attention to the car. My silver 4.4i even with the 4.6 bodykit used to be invisible, now the car gets alot of stares. The ride is slightly rougher but barely noticeable. Braking has definitely improved and so did steering feel. Pushing the car over 90 the car feels rock solid with little or no road noise. There are zero vibrations after the wheels have been balanced the second time. And finally I feel no negative impact in accelerations at all speed.

Conclusion:
These replicas are definitely recommended. I will post another review after a few weeks on its quality and long term reliability.

Glad to hear your review was positive. I have ordered the rims from truckaccessory as well. I have purchased the toyos locally here in nj who will balance and mount the tires. It worked out cheaper and my tire cost is only $830 including mounting and balancing. Hopefully, I should have everything installed by end of this week.
I will post up a review as well...
I do feel a little dissappointed that the rims were made in china and not in Italy as it is claimed to be.
