Did you ask your dealer to do a search in the system for a similar 4.4 that would be available in the tri-state area?? This way you won't have to wait an additional couple of weeks. But in your case it's probably to late to do that becauseyou already have a production #..right? Just checking if thats possible.

Now your looking at delivery sometime in the first week of June

So he found an X5 4.4 with the Ext color you want but not with Truffle interior?. So what are you going to do? Just wait it out or look for another one similar to your choice?

Now looking back, I was really lucky when I placed my order back on Feb 25th, because I was given the production # that very same day and my X5 went into production 10 days later. I took delivery Mar 23rd.

yea its okay i ordered my Jan 02 and dindt get it till february 27th... so i waited about two months too. it goes by pretty fast before you know it ... gluck

Mike - my dealer called me today said i was in the system and spoke to BMWusa and they told him there was no such delay? He said he will check the bmw computer tomorrow to validate this for me.
