FYI: 06 3.0 X5 (with Xenon) DRL Light Bulbs info

After emails between dealer and Hoen, finally got things figured out...

For ppl whose X is same as my setup and interesting in Hoen GB, the DRL is a 55w H1 bulb and it's also used for high beam. (I confirmed that by taking out the bulb from my X). If you see the fitment guide on Hoen's website, the 03+ high beam is using the 9005 which is totally different story in my situation.

Conclusion... H1 != 9005

you can either...
1. have dealer turn off the DRL (according to ADude, not sure if it cost any $$ or if it's illegal in your state)
2. get the H1 from Sylvania (amazon.com)

Any suggestions for making the DRL to fit the white AE are welcome.
