Old running boards what to do with them?

Old running boards what to do with them?

I had my running boards changed under warranty recently and I am getting the old ones back and I was wondering what to do with them ? They have marks on them where acid was used to clean the car when new and has got worse over the last year. I have had a few ideas as what to do with them. What do you guys think ?

1 Try and get them polished so I have a spare set so when the new ones look like crap can swap them over

2 Get them anodised if poss

3 Spray them or get them powder coated (Black maybe)

Any other suggestions welcome!
