The SuperCharger has Landed

Just got the supercharger from Dinan installed... I waited three months for the kit because they were back-ordered. The 20% sale (now 10% sale) really backed them up... but it was worth the wait. My X5 is not as fast as my wife's M5 (close...), but it sure puts the fear of god into the Mustang Cobra owners. Its the perfect setup because 1) the tires don't spin off the line, and 2) can't miss a shift with the automatic! Its hard to imagine such a large box move so fast.

Its almost time for a trip to the race track to get a set of new numbers. Two more things I want to try: an intercooler, and a deeper set of gears. Anyone know of a source for deeper gears? Also... what's everyone using for boost conputers (at least the data logging part)?

M5 for the Wife

Yep I bought my wife the M5 for her birthday in February... I figure I'm out of the dog house for at least a year now! She looks pretty good in it... thin blond with blue tint sun glasses... The gear-heads in town are looking to get her phone number... but they can't catch her! She has no qualms giving a 959 twin a nod for a go!

Somebody's going to have a fun summer! Any chance you can document (photosa) the install as it progresses?
