How hard is it to replace my drivers side control unit? (power windows)

there is something wrong with my driver door it is not working, the lights don't come on when i open the door and there is no power to the switches or they don't work but the are lit up... weird huh? the locks also don't lock when i push the button on the key. But only on the D door all the rest work fine. I've got the new cluster of switches, from trusty ebay, 30 bucks!!!! NEW!!! hell i bought the entire center console displays air con and stereo all for about 200 bucks new and I don't even need em! YET. thats really cheap tho huh? got mad stuff for E53's gotta be chpped!
