Gauge ring colors

Shopping around the 'Net for gauge rings. I see what's called silver and then there's a chrome. However my interior has nothing silver or chrome, so these might be bad feng shui. What I'd like are rings to match the aluminum color of the door handles and arm rest inserts. Does anyone know of this or am I just smokin' the cheap stuff again?

Buy an aluminum trim kit and your feng shui will be in complete harmony with your aluminum gauge rings.

Watch out for the guage rings that are cut and therefore not solid one piece rings.

The rings that Goodstuffs4U0904 sells are cut:

Bavarian_Motorwerks sells one piece rings:

Both are good eBay sellers, but Bavarian_Motorwerks is the better choice for this particular product.

Thanks dude, but what I'm trying to say is that all the gauge rings I see are shiny. I don't want shiny, more of a matte finish like my door handles.

Fine steel wool and 15 minutes of elbow grease will turn shine into matte.

I went with the Bavarian Motorwerks rings. They are $10 cheaper than some others out there. They were a little tight fitting and needed some filing. The finish is not chrome nor is it a matter silver. I would say it's shiny aluminum. The finish is not a mirror silver. Once they are mounted and behind the plastic of the gauge pod, they subtle looking.

As suggested, you could always dull them up a little with steel wool.

Incidentally, they are not OEM parts. They came packaged nicely but in typical "Made In China" cellophane envelopes and a plain blue box without any sort of BMW numbers or markings. I'm not dogging the quality though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've seen the Bavarian Motorwerks set on eBay and I'm leaning toward them. Guess I'll either steel wool 'em or shoot 'em with aluminum spray paint. Probably need two sets, one for practice.
