Tire rating

Can anyone tell me the correct OEM tire for a 2003 4.4 with sport package and factory 18 inch rims? BMW of NA claims the only cars that have V rated tires are the ones that just have sport package and no premium, cold packages, etc. Dealer obviously says H because that’s what they installed during certification. Sounds like BS. I thought that the sport package cars had the speed governor removed (top speed of 143) thus, necessitating a V rated tire.

all factory cars come with a speed governor. doesn't matter what.. DOT regulated. only way to remove it is with aftermarket software.

and i think 4.4's with sport come with 19" wheels and mich diamaris tires as standard... the 3.0 with sport come with the 18"s.. ??

but regardless, either the H or V rated tire will do fine for street driving.
