Please Help!

As some of you may already know, I ordered my 20's on Saturday.

I haven't ordered the tires yet...this is where my question comes in:

I really don't want to take away from the classic/clean lines the X5 has.

I'm scared my ride is going to look as if it's on 'roids!

In other words, I don't want my ride to look higher.
Or the tires to come out really wide. Yes, I want fatter tires but I don't want them to come out alot further from the base.

does any of this make sense?!?!

I'm not sure what your concern is If you ordered 20s in OEM size tires/wheels, then it's gonna come out looking like either the 4.6iS or 4.8iS. There are plenty of those out there for you to look at and judge for yourself. The only unknown is if you wander away from the OEM sizes.

Get the OEM tires and ride height and wheel gap will not change. The 4.4 X5 could be ordered with 20's from the factory.

275/40/20 & 315/35/20

if you dont get the oem tires then your back rims are going to stick out from the tire which will look reallly bad.

I think what everyone is trying to say is that as long as you get the OEM TIRE SIZE is that you will be fine. Just wanted to clarify. Wagner listed the correct size if you want to go with a staggered setup. If you don't want staggered go with 275/40 all around. Depends on what you ordered for wheels.

Front will be fine, but see Krunks pics above. That is how the rear will look, also not sure if they will be the same ride height as OEM and the front. Pretty sure what you are wanting in the rear will actually be a shorter tire. The first number is the width in mm(295), the second is the "percentage" of the width in height(40). So if you go with the same "percentage" on both the front and rear, but the rear is a wider tire it will end up being smaller.

BB- here's how mine turned out looking on my '01 4.4 LINK.

Go with 275/40 for the front and 315/35 for the rear and you won't regret it
