Talking Couple O'Mods this weekend…Euro clears, et al.

Added a few mods this weekend:

Euro clears from Justin at Rover Active, AFE CAI, driver's side keyhole cover from ModBargains, and PIAA angel eye bulb upgrade.

I had a very good experience ordering from Justin at Rover Active, and it only took approximately 2½ weeks for me to receive my Euro clear headlights.

At the suggestion of the experts at MODweekend, I ordered a set of Clear Urethane Headlight Shields from Bavarian Autosport to protect my new headlights, and they're on the way.

I mistakenly ordered Stealth Bulbs with the flat socket (#3457) from Jude at BimmerFreak for the turn signal/parking light; however, what I did not realize is that, unlike US headlights, Euro headlights use round sockets, similar to the tail lights. wuzin was kind enough to provide me with the correct bulb number (#7505), so, I'm on it. Thanks, wuzin.

I've ordered Stealth Bulbs from Jude at BimmerFreak in the past, and his service continues to be excellent.

While I find that the PIAA's are not as bright in the daylight as the OEM angel eyes, I do think that they match the stock xenons quite nicely, albeit with a slightly bluish tint (which is barely noticeable when the xenons are on). I do like the look, and I plan to try them out for a while.

Major props and big thanks to my friends at MODweekend for doing all the installs in an expert, highly skilled, and professional manner.

Oh, yeah: I also did an exterior "quick detail" today:

Z7 wash

Z2Pro (with Zfx) on, Z2Pro off
Z6 on, Z6 off

Repeat.

Z8 on, Z8 off

Dressed the tires with Z16, and the trim with Griot's Vinyl & Rubber Dressing, and finished with Invisible Glass on the windows. (I'll get to the engine bay, one of these days. )

Decorative Front Skid Plate on order.

Your X5 is looking super . I may have to get the Euro clears as well. You are a Zaino expert by now. I also got the keyhole delete part but not installed yet. I have stuff for several mods just sitting waiting to be installed.

Lights look great! I may have to look into the PIAA LED's.

Thanks, guys.

I don't have adaptive headlights, so the price was approx. $1,100.

Now that is what I call a productive weekend! The clears look really good. I'm also going to have to do some research on the PIAA kits.
