Question Grrrrr - Cluster Rings - Bad Fit.

I got the Aluminum rings from Germany. But they don't snap in and won't stay in place. Double stick will not work and I am sure any type of glue will spread everywhere.

Anyone purchase these Aluminum gauge rings and got them to work?

The seller told me I need to Superglue them on. This I know I will not try. I guess back to E-bay.

Sorry to hear about your troubles BruinMan . Please indulge me while I give my 2¢. Personally, I think the rings you chose to install A) Don't look OEM B)Are so thick that they actually cover up too much of the dials. I think they look very aftermarket and overstated. Again, just my 2¢.

Now, let me present an alternative. These Guage Rings from Bavarian Motorwerks look OEM, are tested/tried and true from many many members here, and simply snap-in to place with no adhesives etc... needed. They cost $29.00 + $10.00 shipping. In addition, the seller has a 99%+ positive rating. They ship fast, very fast.

Here is a pic of them from my X:

Whatever you decide, good luck to you!
