My friend just got a crazy deal on a 2003 X5 4.4 sport

My friend just bought a 2003 X5 4.4 sport pkg fully loaded nav, prem, everything. ITs white and has the 87s on it with brand new toyos. 30000 miles on it mint condition. Not one scratch or dent interior looks like no one ever drove it. He paid 25k for it. Has anyone ever seen a better deal than that. I was pretty surprised

Wow...awesome deal...I would've been a bit skeptical myself. Where did he buy it? I'm assuming private sale?

If it's is good condition, that's a great deal!

He was a private seller on ebay. But he ended up being some guy that lived only a half hour from him. He went to the guys house and couldnt believe the condition it was in. For the price he thought it was going to be a POS. So he bought it on the spot and went to the dealer and got the CPO warranty for it till 6/100.

WTF? Check out Dinan's profile and be on the board for more the 20 posts then tell us how he doesn't own a X5

The KBB trade-in's on the X aren't that high:

Excellent
$30,125

Good
$28,600

Fair
$25,750

And the seller was most likely either paid off or a wholesaler for the value which, at $25,000 is not that much of a price hit. Just because you paid a marked up cost doesn't mean someone else needs to.

Thats is a great deal...Sometimes you get people who just want to sell a car no matter what...Who knows what the real reason is...You hear all kinds of stuff, but it all comes down to what the person wants to achieve...Either he paid for it already and the 25K is going something he really wants, or the payments are killing him, and he just wants out of the deal...Who knows..

Anyway D, is your friend going to be our newest member?

there are three books...galves, KBB, and Edmunds....KKB is the highest.

Wags you have to compare all three.
