Chromium AE Ballast installation

I am installing my Chromium AE and am still trying to figure out where would be a good location to mount the ballast. Where do you guys mount yours and how do feed the wire through the Xenon light housing ? Thanks much, guys.

Justin.

I mounted my ballast to the inboard side of the headlight housing, after I ran the wiring into it. As far as the wiring going into, I ran it through the rubber seal where the high beam bulb is. Took out the 3 screws, took the seal off, notched out the "ring" on the housing about 1/4", ran wiring in, replaced the seal making sure that everything was flush and you're done.

Djbock,
What do you use to tight the ballast up? I am thinking of zip-tie but I am not sure if the ballast will get hot or not. Thanks for the info.

Justin.

I used double face tape and stuck the ballast behind the headlight housing.

The ballast should already have double sided tape on them.
