clear sidemarkers

Hey guys im looking for some clear sidemarkers for my '01 (non-sport). I saw them at bavauto for $40. But i also saw these aftermarker ones on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-04...57411436QQrdZ1

Let me know if any of you have done this mod and your experiences. Also let me know what u think about the ebay ones ($18), or if i should just go oem. Thanks

oh i simply mean the little light on on the fender under the model # i.e. under the 3.0i badge. They're clear on 2004+, and older sport models, mine are amber b/c its a non-sport. im just looking for a good deal, but not just any crappy aftermarket knock-off (and maybe some install info )

ok thats better than ordering them for 40 and paying shipping. Have you had any good experiences with dealers around Boston? I've heard bad things about Herb C but some good things about BMW Peabody

i guess. i haven't done a side by side comparison.
my side makers are still in the box. (i was waiting for my clear tail lights to come in.) i'm NOT mechanically inclined. with that being said, someone will do it for me.

Not sure if ur interested but i went out today to figure out how to remove the old ones and its very easy. Just grab the light and slide it towards the front of the car ( right to left on drivers side and left to right on passenger side. The light will shift to that direction about a half an inch and with a slight giggle and pull towards yourself (dont force it it will pretty much fall out itself) it comes right out. No tools necessary and takes literally seconds. New ones go in and slide to the opposite direction. I think if u try it you will be very suprised - I was.
