Do I have a factory hitch??

Will be relocating in June to San Antonio and will be pulling a U-haul trailer. With all the talk about having the OEM hitch, I have been wondering which hitch I have. I see a Westfalia label on it....was that the brand that BMW used for the factory hitch??

Thanks!

Kind of hard to say without actually seeing it.

Here's a picture of the BMW OEM Hitch Kit:

My OEM hitch was made for BMW by Westfalia. BMW shipping carton, but Westfalia ID on the receiver itself. I would look for a sticker on the hitch (or near the spare tire) that lists tow ratings, and hitch ball offset limits, as that was another part of the OEM kit that you wouldn't see from an aftermarket hitch. Factory trailer wiring would be another clue.

Can't guarantee it, but I am pretty sure you have the OEM hitch.
