Question Taillight Question

After JV pointed out to me that the sport taillights are clear instead of amber I am now looking for a set. My question is, is there a difference between years? I have an '01 and am wondering if these will work?

http://cgi.ebay.com/BMW-X5-Clear-Tai...QQcmdZViewItem

or if there is no difference I could get:
http://cgi.ebay.com/BMW-X5-CLEAR-OEM...QQcmdZViewItem

then
http://cgi.ebay.com/2005-BMW-X5-Left...QQcmdZViewItem

for cheaper than the set.

Thanks for the help

Any year tails will fit, but the 04+ will need some slight modifications. There's a document in the LIGHTING section of the home page that describes what needs to be done to retrofit the 04+ into an 03-

Thanks Jeff, so I would be better off going with the first "set" listed?

As far as ease of installation, yes. Some like the look of the 04+ a little better, but the difference is very slight.
