Question about lost dash pixels.

I was reading this thread

http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x3/e...r-problem.html

And was wondering if that fixes entire lines of pixels missing. My digital cmaera is getting fixed so I am lost on posting a pic, but I found one to kinda show you what I mean. Where i have made a black lines is where i have lost pixels, the whole line. On the main display at the bottom and a line in the trip odom. I was just wondering is this the fix for it? Or do I need a new cluster.

Thanks

I had the same problem as well - lost the pixels occasionally, and of course - all was working when I took it to the dealer.

BUT... they tested it and found it to be faulty, so they replaced it.
