Question Tires

What do you use on the tires, i usually use black magic or something similar. Its a pain though when it comes off and onto the car. i have a black X5 so you can see it all over and you have to rub to get it off.
I asked the dealer because i liked the stuff they used; it gave it a satin look, he said it was water based (less oily). I just cant find it.

Stoner makes a good product that tends to not 'fly off', however simply letting your vehicle sit for a while after the product is applied will help.

use armor all tire foam

I use armor all foam and spray it into a plastic lid and let it sit until it becomes liquid.. about 10 minutes.. then I stick the foam tire dressing applicator thinga ma jig into the stuff and apply it on the the tires. works well. you do need to let it dry about 1 hr maybe. chucker

Oye Cubanito,

Use Meguair's Hot Shine. Works great, lasts long and doesn't turn brown with sun and time like other products. If you spray only one coat it gives more of a matte finish. If you use two coats, it tends to get shiny. Just spray on and wipe excess of well. It doesn't seem to fling off the tires and onto the car like some other products (including the 3M rubber dressing I was using before).

I use Z16 Perfect Tire Gloss or Stoner's More Shine/Less Time.
