Rlism - interesting. So your skid plate is painted TiAg on your toledo blue X5, correct? I thought most people were saying that they matched the plate to their body color, but then again, as many have noted, not sure how well the dark-colored skid plates would show up.

Hey rlism - thanks for the pics - Interesting that you have it painted TiAg on your color. I thought of doing that too but I thought it might be too much TiAg there - but it looks good on your vehicle. I'd still love to see one painted to match on a dark X5 - preferably black if anyone's got some p-shop time...

Correct, my skid plate is painted TiAg with a flatter finish to match the kidney grills (it doesn't have the glossy finish like the TiAg body finish). I thought about going Toledo Blue but just wanted to try something different with the off-roadish look.

Looks good especially with the running boards. Did you do anything special with the rear of the X?

It actually matches pretty good with the roof racks and running boards and hood grills and vents...

Looks good VK! My X is TiAg too. I like the contrast of your panel - it breaks up the mono boredom of the black front bumper. Because of you, it's going on my useless mod must do list.

I am ordering the 4.6is Front & Rear bumper trim pieces for my 03' X5 4.4i Black Sapphire. Which Front end piece would you think will look better, the 4.6is trim or the Decorative Skid Plate (both painted Black) on it?
