HIDs on 01 Halogen

Okay, I dont know if I made a mistake or not but I ordered an HID kit from carHIDkits.com for the low beam. I know the that they arent projector but I was willing to put them on anyways.

I was reading up on a few post saying that if I do go with this install, I would have to reflash my ECU and get a CEL?

Or am I reading this wrong? Please let me know if I'm good to go with the install. If I'm not, I'm going to send them back and get H1's for fogs. Thanks

Check your OEM bulbs type for compatible socket and bracket and connections output from original power to ballast and output from ballast to HID bulbs. I ordered from hidny.com that similar the kit from the site that you bought your kit:
Digital HID Kit Slim Ballasts [Digital Slim]
If you order wrong bulbs type, return and reorder the right type for your headlight.

Upon returning to me, I just finished mods to upgrade from halogen to xenon for my 04 lowbeam H7 type last night. It's working great (daylight at nighttime!!!).
I received instructions and assistance from mrbmw before i start into this project.
The plug and play kit from hidny.com really works for my car. Thanks alot mrbmw aka Tom.

Tom, according to what you stated, i turned my hid lights on to work this morning in order to generate some heat for hid bulbs plastic base. So far so good.
Thanks again bro.

Sweet I got the HIDs on the X. It seems pretty good with the halogen headlights. I leveled it out so it aims lower. I can see alot better at night.

Thanks StartX5
