Aluminum Running Board

I am considering removing my aluminum running boards and putting back the stock units (the aluminums were installed by the previous owner). Can someone tell me how difficult this is to do and if there is will be any permanent marks (holes, etc.) from the aluminum units? Thanks.

It shouldn't be too hard. You'll need a rivet gun. Sorry that I'm not much help, but if you decide to sell the Aluminum Running Boards, please let me know.

Well, since there's no update on RBs, I'm wondering if anyone has installed/ used Bavarian Motorwerks recent aftermarket Running Boards? They're intended to be easier to install (no wheel trim change) and better pricing (~$400 shipped).
Anyone?
