Ditching the X5

Sorry guys...After a couple months of hand ringing and serious contemplation, I've decided to dtich my 2004 X5 3.0 with SP. The ride is just way too uncomfortable and the cargo capacity turned out to be too small for my needs. I've enjoyed the X5 very much. It's just not the right vehicle for me at this time. I've narrowed down the replacement choices to the 2007 Yukon Denali and the Toyota Sequoia Limited. I'm taking one more look this weekend before I pull the trigger.

Cheers!

What size wheels you have with sports package? That may be the reason.

Check your Tire pressure... One guy on his 4.8 had 50 psi in each tire.

That was me! this was after I asked the dealer to check! Now after buying an air compressor and tire gauge my ride is smooth.

Gunslinger, if you would like to compare the ride, I'll be around the house this weekend. We can hook up and you can drive the 4.6 and see the difference.
I don't think you'll enjoy dumping the X. Let me know............Phil

new tahoe is pretty nice too
also not to mention the infamous escalade lol
i mean i think x5 isnt for someone who looks for comfort and roomy car you kno
alot of ppl say that escalade is a "balla" type of car but it actually drives very nice with some nice 24's (nice acceleration/torque) and its VERY comfortable...one of my friend drives it and the car handles awsome running at 110mph down I75

well...the x5 is def. a drivers car, at least your not getting that babrbie truck ML benz....but i see your cause for a "roomier" ride...however..if i wanted more cargo room....i would def. attach a trailer to the back of my X...bu i could never part..that would break me =\
