Where to get new Leather seat cover
Mine was almost worn clean down past the color in a number of places by the previous owner and I had it re-dyed but it still doesn't look right. Of course it'd look right if a new one is too much! Thanks! |

I wouldn't DIY that one unless you are an upholsterer or have lots of experience sewing leather. Another option is to look for a newer/better driver's seat from a wrecked X5.
The cheapest option aside from leaving it would be to get some seat covers but you'll always know what lurks beneath.
