Where to get new Leather seat cover

So I need/like to replace my drivers seat bottom leather cover. Anyone done this and what did you pay for the cover? Can it be replaced by a person with fairly good mechanical skills?

Mine was almost worn clean down past the color in a number of places by the previous owner and I had it re-dyed but it still doesn't look right. Of course it'd look right if a new one is too much!

I wouldn't DIY that one unless you are an upholsterer or have lots of experience sewing leather. Another option is to look for a newer/better driver's seat from a wrecked X5.

The cheapest option aside from leaving it would be to get some seat covers but you'll always know what lurks beneath.
