I was just discussing this mod with my service dept. today. I'm taking delivery of my '06 Jet Black X5 3.0 later this week and I was considering getting the titanium kidney grills. But then upon further browsing in the dealer's lot, I realized that it would look funny unless I also replaced the hood scoops. So I went and asked the service dept, and they said it's a bit more complicated to replace those as the windshield washer jets go through there. They quoted me 1 hour labor for that alone, so I decided that between the cost of all the parts and the labor, it's just not worth it. But that part you want can be ordered from any BMW parts department. It is simply the hood scoop from the X5 4.4.
