Quick, cheap lock mod.

All Ml's come with a black plastic lock plug, that covers the keyhole on the driver's door. In searching for one to use on the X, I found that the plug that comes on Saab 9-5's fits perfectly. My local Saab dealer takes them off before delivery, so he was glad to give me one, although I can't imagine that they would cost much, if you had to buy one from the parts dept.

Nice! Now we have to find someone who owns a SAAB so we can get 'em to go to the parts department

What keeps someone from just popping it off?

Nothing, although I've had the cover on my '02 for 3 years, and on the '05 for about 4 months. Not intended to enhance security, just to keep debris out of the lock.
