One other issue I just thought of if you go with a post '04 conversion on the front end is what you're going to do to make it match the rear ACS kit and the painted trim. You can't leave the front bumper with the black portion and adding the 4.8is front end will still leave some black. You could paint that too but it won't give you the same full look that your current ACS bumper does. If you want to add a new ACS front bumper I think it's a big disappointment. The one you have is so much nicer.

Below is the ACS front for '04's and newer.

Could you post a pic of the rear spolier and a closer pic of the painted headlights. I've been thinkinig of having the inside of mine painted as well. Looks Great!! I have silver also and love the way it looks with the trim painted.

I'm going to join with the rest of the gang who think your ACS body kit looks great as is. Your X looks way better than an X with an aero kit.

I take it you've got the ACS coilover set up? How much did it drop your X by? There's a couple of members running 22" HRE's with a drop; I don't remember anyone complaining about clearance. Maybe before you tear up that beautiful X5, you might look at redoing your suspension to eliminate the rub.

Dude that is one sick X, I'd say keep the ACS kit on it. If you dont mind me asking what type and size are your wheels?

I suggest painting the hood air vents titanium to match the grille.

Also did you take out the lens of the headlights?
