They feel like a big tube, I totaled my 2005 3.0i when I was hit by a drunk driver, the jury is still out in my head between curtains and HPS

Any airbags deployed? The biggest reason i drive an X5 in the crazy streets of Miami is cuz of the safety. I see too many traumatic brain injury and quadriplegic patients after MVA's. The airbag in the front pillar by my head is the most valuable airbag in the car IMHO.

amazing! very glad that you're okay. FYI, the 2nd generation x5 is coming next year. may want to hold a bit on that purchase.
