Possible to special order Carbon Black on a 4.4i in the US???

I'm ordering my '06 4.4i next week...........my original color choice was Black Sapphire Metallic but after reading posts and viewing pics here @ X5world, Stratus Gray replaced BSM. Now I'm REALLY interested in Carbon Black. I LOVE the inky blue-black tone! Has anyone special ordered this in the US (I've read it's about $2,500 extra)? Can it be done???

You should be able to for $2500. I know someone who ordered late last year in carbon black. But you may have to act fast. It was sold through WestchesterBMW.

Besides carbon black 'midnight blue' is another great color. The 500,000th X5 produced was in midnight blue.

First time I've seen the Midnight Blue. Other favorite colors of mine are Estroil Blue and Imola Red. But you do have to act quick...

We have a m3 in carbon black it looks amazing. Best color you can get in my opinion.
