dave of angel ibrights, I'm interested in getting your product for the reason that immola said yours is brighter. However, what guarantee can you give me that your product would not blink? If your product doesn't blink, i'm sold. But if it does, I surely want a refund

We will have a 5W Version coming out soon. You can buy the 3W version and upgrade later with a trade-in

Great! Ill just wait for your 5w version. My question now is will the wiring harness be able to handle the additional 2 watts. I know, i know, 2 watts is just 2 watts. But it's almost twice the power of the orginal bulb

Won't be an issue - Umitza will engineer it to work flawlessly

it seems like this blinking issue is more of a "luck" issue, and most likely will happen unless there is gonna be a special ballast invented to trick the computer for them not to blink. I know im not dave, but at the same time i have worked with many many light products, from my 330xi to my x5 now, switching up lights really often as i LOVE LIGHTS SO MUCH yes im weird. But i have noticed it is simply how your computer reacts to the new light products.

As i have mentioned earlier; example; xenon fogs. After installing xenon fogs, on my 330xi and my x5. I remembr using at least 2pairs of diff ballast units. One ballast company, would have the fogs blinking for 3-5sec after turnin the fogs on. Another ballast company, would NOT have the fogs blinking. BUT both companies, sold SPECIAL UNITS to trick the computer, so they would not blink. I asked the ballast company that did not make my fogs blink, if there was anyway i could have accidentaly gotten a pair of ballasts with the trick computer unit in them, and they said "no highly unlikely" since all the ballasts go out brand new, unless the customers specifies them to have that "trick unit"programmed into the ballast, they just said that, it could be the way your car reacts to the ballaast, and some cars accept them better then others.

Also get this; to get this special option to trick the computers and not have the fogs blinking the special units cost anywhere from 40$-140$ depending on if your buying the whole kit or not;

so i guess the poiint, im trying to make herre is; if it really bothers you that much about the blinking, then wait until they come out with a solution, but for now, i dont think there is going to be a quick fixer upper anytime soon,it does not seem like they PREtested the blinking issue and just guessed that it would not happen wit their unit. As for both ICE and Ibright at least 1customer has had a blinking problem
NOW THATS MY OPINION

Thanks for sharing the pics imola, If you could snap some dusk pics it would be an even better comparison
As far as the blinking goes, I installed a set of led turn signal bulbs on my wife's e46 coupe. They blink whenever the car is turned on in the morning just as my ibrights do...

I already but my ibrights back into my X, i guess i basically spent money just to do a comparison and then put in the one that was brighter.

But as far as LED's thats a bit diff.. LED bulbs light up even if less then 1w touches them, so they are real sensetive when it comes to power and basically dont draw a lot of power at all.

Besides the blinking of the Predator ICE, which really doesn't bother me much, I find it not as bright as what imola4.8isWA has shown. Hmm...I wonder why?

For me, these are definately no comparison to the brightness coming out of the Umnitza Predator Chromiums for the E46 M3 that I have installed. I can easily see the Angel Eyes on my M3 reflect off cars in front of me in broad daylight, but can barely make out the Predator ICE Angel Eyes on my X (even at night).

Something leads me to think it's a bad connection so I checked the wire connections and even redid the connection by making my own connectors to connect to the OEM plug. I guess I'll try to think of something else another time if they are supposed to brighter. I know you can't compare the Predator ICE w/ the Predator Chromiums (on my E46 M3) since they are two totally different products, but I guess I had too much expectations from the ICE after having the Chromiums.
