Question about tail light wire harness..
I am wondering, is there an easy way to replace the wire harness or snap in plug that goes into the rear tail light. Mine has some corrosion that is preventing one of the bulbs to come on all the way and sometimes I have the "check rear light" message come on...any ideas..? I can post a pic if need be about what part I am talking about..

Thats common. Dealer will replace light assemblies.
My solution was to hardwire bulb socket to light assembly. I did it once and no problem since. Just solder pieces of wire about 5" from socket to assembly. It will prevent arching. |
