Another simple mod with great results. Pics inside

Today I painted the yellow front bulbs on my car.
The instructions on the lights section were a great help to remove the lights.
This mod takes you one hour to perform and might cost you 3 euros at most

(paint price for the bulbs)

Put the bulbs on my wifes car vents to dry quicker while I was changing my coolant recervoir that was cracked. Took me 10 minutes to have the new recervoir in and continue to make the clear look mod.

Before (here using the camera flash you can see how much yellow reflexion the unpaited bulb produces inside the lamp. The bulb is not blinking in this picture as some of you migth think)

After (the painted bulb doesn´t let the yellow reflexion appear so strong inside the lamp. When the bulb is blinking there´s alot of reflexion, you wont notice the difference for an unpainted bulb)

I just can tell you the overall look of the X with the painted yellow bulbs is mutch better in rear life than pics can show, it just looks freshier, I love it

Nice mod. Did you use heat resistant paint?
This is a new as most use the stealth bulbs.

Does make much of a difference, good job! I have stealth bulbs installed on my 740il. I need to do the same on the X.

Yes I did use heat resistant paint. I believe the stealth bulbs looks great and tit´s also a good option vs painted bulbs

Looks good. Not new though, the E46 guys have been doing it for years.

Very resourceful. I went with clear bulb in the front and Philips Silvervisions on the rear. I spray painted the side blinkers silver like you did. Sometimes it's these little projects that are so satisfying.
