How to remove a Park Sensor?

I have found a damaged park sensor. Now the problem is how to remove and change the sensor.

It is one of the center front bumper sensors. Is there a way to remove the sensor without removing the bumper?.

If not, can anybody tell me how to remove the front bumper?

She is a 2005 X5

i don't know how the factory ones are, but if its anything like the retrofit kit (which i think its the same parts), then you have to remove the bumper as its a 2 piece shell/holder that clamps onto the bumper skin... one part on the outside, one part on the inside...

look at PersonaNonGrata's PDF DIY on PDC retrofit for pictures and instructions...

There is a braket that holds it in from the inside of the bumper. I changed over the 4.8is front and it took me a little bit to figure out how to remove the little thing.
