Window Regulator?

In my 2002 X5, the driver's side window just started going up and down very slowly. Once that happened, I stopped operating it when it got back to the close position. I didn't want to end up with the window stopped fully or partially open, as I have had happen in my 3 series when the "comfort switch" went out. As I only cycled it once or twice, I'm not sure if the one touch was even operating correctly. I'm trying not to operate it prior to bringing it back to the dealer. Does this sound like the window regulator? IS it covered under Certified?

Oh yes! this is very likely a window regulator problem. It is normally covered under CPO otherwise there is a DIY in this forum.
Good luck

I just had mine replaced as the window was clicking. Apparently the regualtor hadn't failed yet, but the dealer went ahead and replaced it with no charge to me.

My driver side window does not want to go down! I tried openining it with the key and all others went down except the driver side....it seemed to operate just fine proir to today....could this be the regulator...if so this will be my first?

Very likely that the window regulator is the problem.
