Steering Wheel / Need help

I am truing to find out if 03 X5 has the same sport steering wheel as 3 series BMW's. I checked RealOEM website and the part numbers are different but they look the same to me.
I need to know if X5 steering wheel is thicker than e46 3 series. Thanks.

the sports wheel and the square one both can fit on E46 and X5. I have done it so many times on my 330, 325 and X5.

no its the exact same thickness. You can install the sports X5 04 wheel or an M3, its a lot thicker.
