X5 off-roading

Hi all, take a look at these pictures. I drove my X to China for light off-roading.

Wow.
I wouldn't call that light offroading. Great pictures and thanks for sharing with us.

I believe X can go bumper deep into water, at least that's what i have seen in one of official videos.

That is some serious off-roading. Show it to range rover guys.

What are they doing looking at license plate?

While doing

I agree with nupe! Just because I could doesn't mean I should.

They are hooking on the winch cable to extract the vehicle. Check out the left rear wheel, it has dropped in to a hole in the riverbed. Gotta be careful if you can't see the bottom under the water, you never know what you will hit.

Brave move in an X5; I have done similar river crossings but in a cheaper vehicle, and always with at least one winch amongst the group. Hope you don't get problems with items like vents that let water in to components that shouldn't have water in them.

Thanks for the pics.

ROGERKIU, i would love for you to be with me in a bar fight; you gots no fear. You gotta leave the off-roading to the 4x4s; its not for all-wheel drives. That landcruiser sitting on the bank looks good there, cuz its built for that (I own one just for this purpose). But that X in the middle of the stream (looking as if it is about to be swept downstream); most are thinking, "that guy is fucking nuts!"
