Chrome Mesh?

Has anyone here ever replaced a stock 4.4 front bumpers mesh in black and replaced with new stainless or just taken the exisitng black mesh out and painted it silver? I think it would add to the apprearance of my 4.4 sp 01's black sapphire front end.

Is there any directions for taking the mesh out?

Yep, plenty of the guys on the board have done it - including myself. But to my knowledge, 4.4 would have the titanium grille already- no?

I think Niagara is talking about the mesh in the bumper, not the grille.

i believe the sport package included the silver mesh in the 3.0 and 4.4. Perhaps its something youd be able to buy from ur dealer.

Yes correct I meant the mesh in the bumper. My sport optioned 4.4 has blacked out everything. I am looking into chroming the mesh in the bumper from its exisitng black finish. Does anyone know if it clips in and out easily?

I like the look of the black "Jack Osborne X5" modded front end. What type of front end is that anyway?

It is called a "Titanium-colored bumper grill" according to the window sticker from my 05 sport pack X5. It comes on the SPort Package cars so you should be able to easily pick it up from your dealer.
