Talking Zeckhausen Rocks

Just got off the phone with Dave Zeckhausen! I left him a message earlier after 5pm est and was not expecting a call back till tommorrow at the soonest. 45 minutes later i get phone call from him saying that he can have my rotors and pads shipped by today still and recieve them by monday. I just wanted to share what an awesome experience that was. He was very Helpful and gave props to X5 WORLD.COM! He said we have a great forum here. That's all, just wanted to share.

sorry if i posted this in the wrong place. admins please feel free to move accordingly

Mitch

I don't know Dave personally other than a few purchases from him (brakes and CDV), but I do know of his involvement with the BMWCCA and various other BMW forums. He's a true Bimmerphile and is very supportative of the sports car community. We need more guys like him, Ben Liaw, the Hugh brothers, etc, who are sifting through the myriad of aftermarket parts, finding and recommending what works the best or manufacturing their own high performance parts for us car junkies.

He's a great guy! Met him and his wife during one of the early X5 meets and they're really nice.

Monday, 8am pst, I paid for Centrics rotors and Axxis deluxe pads, online.
Tuesday, 5pm, rotors and pads are in my living room.
I think the UPS guy made all the lights...
The proof is in the pudding....

Dave is a good guy, helpful on the phone. I have purchased 4 sets of brakes from him the past few years. All the transactions were smooth with no problems. Glad that he's on here as a sponsor!

Thumbs up

I was a board participant with Dave Z. on the RF E39 board. He knows his 540s like nobody's business. A very accommodating and smart individual who is doing us all a big favor by selling his skills. ....and if you ever swing by his house for a personal install, be sure to sample his beer. What great collection! (Dave, if you're lurking - post a pic of your beer fridge!!!)

Yep - Dave Rocks! That's an X5World sponsor that'll always exceed your expectations.
