Service in the NYC area

I have a 2000 Z3 2.3 and a 2002 X5 4.4 and would like to have recommendations for people to do service on these vehicles. The X5 still has until Jan 2006 for it maintenance contract, but the Z3 is up and an inspection II is coming due. I do not want to take it to a dealer for the costs are just ridiculous. Dealer quote was over $900 for labor on and Inspection II, a brake flush and to add Freon!!!

Any suggestions for BMW experts, especially in Brooklyn, would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

like i said in the other thread, if stealerships aren't for you, you could always try independent bmw shops. One of the more popular one's is "The Little Garage". They have two locations, in Woodside, Queens and Huntington, Long Island.

I have not heard anything good about BMW Manhattan.

BMW Manhattan is a factory shop, so there is little incentive by a dealer owner to go above and beyond.

New BMW Showroom - Wall Street - Lower NYC

FYI.
Was walking by today and saw them putting up the sign on the building. Has one new 3 series in there (e90) but empty everywhere else. Located on Wall and Beaver (one block west of water st on Wall).

There is a guy in downtown bklyn that does amazing work. From mechanical to painting. He only works on foreign cars. His name is Sakis(Greek) Number is 718.852.2926 or 212.343.0386. Tell him you got his number from Leon.
