Have you guys seen this thing? It is supposed to swirl the air around in the intake tube and cause your to recieve better gas mileage and better performance. Has anyone tired this product? Does it work?

IMHO - Not worth it...

If it really work, don't you think BMW would already put it in there to begin with? What make you think that some backyard/garage guy tinkering around would find something that BMW had already spent Millions on R&D can't find? Consumer report had already did some testing on some of these products. Most of them causes power LOSS rather than gained.

100% agreed! Numerous car forum car-tech junkies and aftermarket car manufacturers tested these "better gas mileage intake tubes" with the cyclone like tube that makes the air "spin" and therefore causing better gas mileage and even "increase" in hp... bunch of BS

And some of them are so poor quality that they break up, and then get sucked into the engine. Good time there...
