A few questions - Running boards and mudflaps...

So I already have mudflaps (front and rear) and today I picked up running boards from Morristown BMW. I am looking at pictures on the site and can't tell if all owners of running boards have the fended flares installed as well -- I am talking about the ones that come in the package with the running boards.

So questions

1) Can I install the running boards and keep the existing fender flares -- this way I think installation time will be much less and I can keep the existing front mudflaps

2) If above answer is no, what is the part # for the front mudflaps that go with the running boards? I can't seem to find it anywhere at all.

3) Can someone send the link (Napa?) to the exact rivet gun or rivet kit that you've purchased to help with DIY install? I bought a rivet gun today but I dont think it's the right one as I never had to use one before in my life.

4) Lastly, is this a DIY that I can perform without lifting the car but rather lifting it slightly with 2 jacks?

Thanks in advance.
