E53 Speed Sensor
It can be from any wheel. Would it be in square or sine wave?

In your trunk side, at your DB25 level, the speed signal is the black&white wire.

DB25 level, is that a connector? I will look in the trunk side for the Bk/Wht wire. I suppose it is where the CD changer, Bluetooth are located.

Yes, it should be a black connector depending on the yr of your car. It somewhat looks like those old Parallel LPT1 male connectors which we used for our printers a long time ago. Lemme know if you find it.

I also notice this connector, but can someone tell me what the use this connector for? My x does not equipped with Nav system, only a tv tuner and a radio tuner.

i was told vss wire is located in back of the instrumental cluster, black harness. black/white wire. is that correct?

That would be great if the speed signal can be tapped from the "local" instrument cluster as to not run wires across the car.
Also, is there a "local" place to tap the reversegear signal?? Thanks!!! |

Totally depends on your car year and model. Easiest tap for reverse signal is the reverse lamp in your taillights.
