Optimum Tire inflation pressure for 19" wheel/tires?

Hello all,
I just went to check my air pressure on my tires, and when I opened the driver side door was faced with a paragraph of different tire inflation information. Anyway, is it best to be at 32PSI on all four corners for optimum performance as stated on the door jam? I'm running 255/50R-19 front, 285/45R-19 rear Michelins with sport package, so 32psi seems low (to me) for such large tires?
Appreciate.
Cheers,
K
