ZTeK

I had the ZTeK exhaust system installed on my 2000 X5 and I am very please with the installation, quality of the system and the sound quality it brings to my X. It gives my X a throaty sound and when I open up the throttle on the highway, it makes a smooth sound that doesn't intrude into my interior. Thanks Lance! I will make sure to let Sacramento Xers know about ZTeK!

Here you go:

VIDEOS/SOUND CLIPS:

http://site.zerotek.net/x5-startup-rev.AVI

http://site.zerotek.net/x5-ZTEK-city-drive.wmv

The sound of the startup and rev is very close to the exhaust but the sound and tone is nice and deep, but it is not obnoxious at all, very respectable sounding startup that your neighbors will not be able to hear in their house. Quiet idle, but slightly deeper note. Reving and hard acceleration is deep and throaty, while highway crusing and around town driving is mild, with ZERO resonance and no droning whatsoever (SAME AS STOCK sound levels while crusing on the freeway).

Could you take some more pics from the rear at different angles? There appears to be quite an angle to the tips towards the outside of the vehicle, but the current pic(s) don't do a fair job of showing it.

The angle is not really very much at all it is actually perfectlly parallel with the rear bumper and looks much better as it matches the lines of the rear. I posted all the pics I have but possibly someone else who has installed a ZTek can post more pics, but those pics show just as the look in person, exactly the same angle as the rear bumper.
