Playing MP3 player in '06 X5-no nav

I tried a search, but couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. When I bought the 2006 X5 a few weeks ago, salesman told me that I could buy something at Radio Shack for $100 in order to play MP3 player via my cd player/radio/bluetooth. I do not know what he is talking about. I'm familiar with the FM tuner types made by Belkin etc. Is there a way to hook up a Creative to play in the X? Thanks for your help!

BTW, I have single CD player and no nav if it makes a difference, which, according to search, it does.

He's probably talking about an FM transmitter, which I wouldn't recommend throwing away your money on. What type of MP3 player do you have?

It's a Creative Zen Micro, pretty new, bought about 6 months ago or so. Yeah, I don't want an FM transmitter. Any other suggestions out there?? thanks!

It's not going to happen via Bluetooth - your best bet is using an AUX kit for a dedicated input:

Auxiliary Audio Input - e39/X3/X5 Business CD
