front/rear power distribution ratio (not xdrive)

I have read various articles and searched these boards and articles but I still cant find a definitive BMW document telling me the answer.

Can anyone definitively state what the front/rear precentile power distribution is on pre facelift ( i.e. non xdrive ) X5's ?

I have read reports of 38/62, 66/34 and 50/50. I reckon 38/62 but confirmation or other comments welcomed.

for some reason, 38/62 sticks in my head. 50/50 and 66/34 is definitely not it.

Thanks hayaku,

Any others care to comment or have a point of documented reference ?

Reason I asked is my father asked me the distribution and despite too many hours researching X5's before I bought I was unsure re the answer.
