Hello all, I have been perusing the forums for a few weeks now and I wanted to get registered and say hello. I am from Honolulu, Hawaii and I recently purchased a 2006 white/gray 4.4i.....I have found these forums to be very informative and am looking forward to becoming an active member here.

It's a shame the speed limit on most of the freeways is 55mph max, so you can't go that fast. I know I'd probably have my license revoked if I drove my X5 there. Where in Honolulu are you from? I used to live in Makiki.

x5guy, I am in Alewa. I lived in Makiki for a couple of years, then bought a house out in Mililani. As you may or may not know the real estate market blew up out here for a couple of years, so I sold and picked up a place closer to town.

I drive my X5 speed limit most of the time so the 55mph thing don't bother me much. It's when I'm out in my Z06 that I need to be careful! LOL

Dyno'd 471rwhp on 92 octane and very conservative tuning. No cool down, right outta traffic. She'll smoke the tires right into 5th gear on a hard strreet tire launch. Recently dyno'd 507/473 on methanol injection and little more timing.

The car is custom in every way, maybe the most modded C5 in Hawaii. Full LG road race world challenge suspension (no more leaf springs), blown, ported, slammed, tuned and running on 19x9.5 & 20x11 iForged! Hehehe...it's a whole lot of fun.

Awesome brutha. Maui's a pretty cool place. I used to be there 2 months out of the year on average running electrical/mechanical projects for some of the big Maui hotels.
